Last night while I was fretting over how I would fix all the wind damage on the farm before it got dark today, Farmer Howard “solved” the issue by decreeing that he would text our youngest son (who works nights) and let him know he would need to help around the farm in the morning.

In a shocking, totally unexpected, unforeseeable turn of events, it was discovered that said youngest son, had played hours of video games upon his return from work, and was now left immobile, by an immediate and desperate need for sleep.

Sadly, I must announce that said son will be unable to assist in todays Farm Cleanup project. We wish him a speedy recovery, and hope a tree does not fall on his room during his respite.

In other news, after thoroughly grooming both cats and checking them for fleas this morning, it was discovered that I had accidentally used Farmer Howard's comb.

What a peculiar day this is turning into. Happy Monday
