Muddy Paws Farm Rescue is open to the public on Sundays. Summer / Fall hours are 10 AM–3 PM.A donation is requested for Sunday admission, with all proceeds helping support the care of our rescued animals.We are a working rescue and a private residence, Sunday hours may occasionally be shortened or adjusted, particularly during extreme weather. We recommend checking our website or social media before heading out for the most up-to-date hours.We also host ticketed events, programs, tours and private experiences at other times, but outside of those scheduled activities, the farm is not open for general public visits.

Muddy Paws Farm Rescue is also our private home and a working rescue farm. To protect the animals and maintain their routines, the farm is only open to the public during scheduled open hours and events.

We ask all visitors to make a donation upon entry during our Sunday public hours. There is no set admission price, so you may choose the amount that is comfortable for your family or group.Muddy Paws Farm Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue, and caring for more than 100 rescued animals is expensive. Feed, hay, bedding, veterinary care, medications, shelter maintenance and everyday farm expenses add up quickly.Opening the farm to visitors is one of the ways we raise the money needed to care for our animals and continue our rescue work. Your donation is not simply a fee to walk through the farm — it directly helps provide for the rescued animals you are coming to meet.We are grateful for every visitor who supports our mission and helps make our work possible.

Yes! Volunteers are a huge part of what makes Muddy Paws Farm Rescue possible, and we are always grateful for people who are willing to give their time to help our animals.As an all-volunteer nonprofit rescue, there is always plenty to do — from feeding and caring for animals to cleaning, farm chores, special projects, events and helping us keep the rescue running smoothly.Volunteer opportunities can vary depending on our current needs, the season and the type of help you are comfortable providing.If you’re interested in joining us, please visit our Volunteer page to learn more and get started. No outside food or animal treats are allowed.Because many guests visit during Open House events, we carefully monitor what and how much our animals are fed.Bags of approved animal treats are available for purchase for $5.

No. The animals here are permanent residents.Muddy Paws Farm Rescue is a sanctuary, which means this is their forever home.

Every animal at Muddy Paws Farm Rescue has a unique story.Some were saved from slaughter, some needed new homes when their owners could no longer care for them, and others were rescued from neglect or abandonment.All of them now have a safe and permanent home here.

Muddy Paws Farm Rescue is supported through donations, fundraising events, and the generosity of our founders and community supporters.Every contribution helps us provide lifelong care for the animals who live here.

The animals live here year-round, so the farm operates in every season. Winter simply means extra hay, warm shelters, and lots of bundled-up volunteers caring for the animals.

We review surrender requests on a case-by-case basis.Unfortunately, due to space and facility limitations we cannot accept every animal. Please note we are not set up for, and are unable to accept the following: • Dogs and Cats • Rabbits or indoor pets • Pigs• Reptiles or Amphibians • Any Wildlife

Outside pets are not allowed on the farm.Many of our animal residents have experienced trauma, and unfamiliar animals can cause stress.

Muddy Paws Farm Rescue was created out of a deep love for animals and a desire to help those who had nowhere else to go.Our mission is to provide a safe, permanent home for farm animals who have been neglected, abused, at risk of slaughter, or simply in need of a new beginning.
