Cancellation Policy

If your field trip needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather, we will do our best to find another agreeable date. Signed release waivers are required from every attendee and will be collected upon arrival. Teachers, school staff, and chaperones are responsible for supervising students at all times during the field trip. Muddy Paws Farm Rescue staff and volunteers will guide the tour and animal interactions, but are not responsible for student supervision, behavior management, or head counts. For safety and traffic flow, parents should not follow directly behind the bus into the farm driveway. Our driveway fills quickly when buses arrive, and additional vehicles can become stuck waiting in the road, creating a traffic hazard. Parents who are attending as approved chaperones should arrive separately and park in the designated parking area inside the farm. Guests who have pre-ordered Muddy Paws Farm Rescue books will receive their copy at the end of the trip, or books may be given in bulk to the teacher. Books, eggs an other items may also be available for sale on the day of the event.
